city centre offices welcomes a new project to the camp. "boy robot" is the joint effort from hans möller, well known for his work as "boulderdash" and michael zorn, also a well established solo-artist as zorn with releases on our very own cco, plus numerous records on lux nigra and kanzleramt-offshot k2o. hans and michael met at work in berlin and very soon afterwards decided to work together on some tracks. "set it for me", one of the core tracks of the forthcoming album, marks boy robot's collaboration with manchester-based vocalist barrington "faithful" bisumber and the experiment to melt their love for electronic dub with a real voice, paying respect to the most important source of inspiration. "the wodka belt", exclusive to this e.p., gives you an idea of what boy robot can be all about. with deep, wide and floating soundscapes and the vocal talent of hanif sabzevari, this track counterbalances the condensed energy of the title track. the b-side kicks off with unai's interpretation of "set it for me". unai happens to be hans möller's brother. his releases and remixes are too numerous to mention, his monikers include unai, i & spinform (fresh e.p. on hobby industries). if you are into dubby techno and house, you are familiar with his releases on raum...musik, punkt etc. "gelee royal", again exclusive to this e.p., finished off a fantastic 4-tracker.
